Tapestry is a form of textile art traditionally woven on a vertical loom. It requires a careful hand, keen eye and patience. Many people all over the world do tapestry. Whether it be for an artistic outlet, a hobby or social activity. Tapestry is a wonderful way to pass time and create beautiful art.
The tapestry group meet weekly at BCC. You’ll feel welcome in this friendly, special interest group. Over the duration of the class our students work on their own projects, all the while chatting and getting to know one another.
Your tutor, Marg has many years experience teaching needlework to students of all ages and different levels of skill. Whether you’re a complete beginner or seasoned-threader, you’re sure to call on her help. Marg leads an unstructured class, assisting her students one-on-one and answering any questions they may have.
Special equipment is required for this tapestry group. Your tutor will explain exactly what you need to purchase and bring to class. If you’d like more information or to join, please call the office.
