Qigong is a low-impact form of movement that will clear the mind and lift your spirit. These gentle exercises also help to maintain strength, flexibility and balance. Start with the basics and learn step-by-step in this class that is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Relax and restore with Qigong (pronounced chee-gung). Qigong is an exercise system that coordinates the body, breath and mind to release stress and tension and restore your energy. It involves slow, gentle stretches and movements which are easy to follow. The flowing meditative movements of qigong also help to keep the body supple and strong and improve balance. This class is suitable for people of all ages and ability and levels of experience. Join at any time. Your tutor, Catriona has lots of experience teaching new students. She leads the class with clear explanations and step-by-step demonstrations. With a small class size, you’ll feel comfortable and confident as part of this friendly and supportive group. Qigong at BCC will help you to stay healthy, active and calm. May be practiced standing or sitting. Come along wearing comfortable clothing and shoes and bring a water bottle.
