You are invited to The Balwyn Community Centre Reopening Celebration!

Event date: Saturday 1 May 2021
Event time: 10.30am – 1.00pm
Formal ceremony: 11.00am – 11.20am

It is going to be a fun-filled, interactive community event! You and your family are invited to enjoy live-music, yummy foods, kids’ activities and face painting, live-action arts expos, free dance classes and fitness groups. There will also be several speakers in the Function Centre, presenting on a range of interesting topics. A formal ceremony will take place at 11am to unveil the plaque, commemorating the previous virtual launch. More information about scheduling on the day will be released shortly. We are looking forward to working with Council and hosting the event at the Centre in what is going to be an event to remember.

Passionate, motivated volunteers are needed to help on the day. Both members and non-members of the Centre will be required to direct visitors, share information about courses and workshops, to participate in live action demonstrations and assist setting up and packing down the event.
