Balwyn Community Centre is joining the Garage Sale Trail to help our community declutter, recycle, and rehome pre-loved treasures! Come browse our 20+ sellers for pre-loved treasures, household items, books, and more—all at bargain prices. You never know what gems you’ll find!

Contribute to our Cake Stall
Can you help make our Garage Sale a sweet success?
We’re looking for volunteer bakers to donate some delicious homemade treats for our Garage Sale cake stall! Whether it’s cakes, slices or biscuits, sweet or savory, every contribution is appreciated and will help make the day a success.
A few things to keep in mind:
🍪 Please package items in a disposable container, individually if you can but otherwise leave that to us!
📝 Include a list of ingredients and highlight any allergens, such as nuts, eggs, dairy and gluten.
🎂 Please stick to treats that are safe to store at room temperature, without raw eggs, cream or custard fillings.
Can you bake something for us? Let us know then simply drop off your baked goodies at the Balwyn Community Centre reception on Friday 13 November between 9am and 4pm, or on Sunday morning (15 November) by 9am.

Join Our Community Garage Sale as a Stallholder!

Is it time for a clean out? Love the idea of a garage sale but don’t want people coming to your house? We have the perfect solution — host a stall at the BIG Balwyn Community Centre Garage Sale this November!
We’ll provide you with a table and an indoor venue — you bring along your pre-loved treasures – easy! It’s a great way to clear out your cupboards, make a bit of extra cash, and enjoy a fun day out. Plus, it’s the perfect chance to meet local shoppers and be part of a lively community event.
How to join in the Balwyn Community Centre Garage Sale
- Register for a stall via the Garage Sale Trail website
- Read our Guidelines, choose your stall size and sign the declaration.
- Become a Balwyn Community Centre member – you can join here (it’s only $16 for an annual membership)
- We will send you a confirmation email when you stallholder request has been approved
- Start clearing out your cupboards, garage and spare room! Check out the tips from the Garage Sale Trail to help you get started
- Help us promote the sale – you can use the blue or green social media tiles (don’t forget to tag @balwyn.cc on IG or @BalwynCommunityCentre on Facebook), put up some posters in your local area (including local businesses and community noticeboards) or drop some flyers in letterboxes around your neighbourhood. The more shoppers we have, the more you sell!!!
