Replenish and restore during this half-day yoga workshop! This is a first for BCC and we’re excited to expand our health and wellness program to offer a new experience.   

Attendees will learn a gentle way to invigorate the body using Slow Flow and Restorative Yoga, followed by a practice to relax the mind and restore the spirit. This half-day wellness workshop is suitable for people of all ages and levels of experience.

Over 3 hours you will learn more about the benefits of yoga and the best ways for you to continue your practice at home. The workshop is a fantastic option if you’re time-poor and don’t want to commit to a weekly class, or if you’ve been practising for some time and looking to expand your knowledge.

Held in April, this workshop takes place as the year is well and truly getting underway and it’s very important during this time that we take care of our body and mind. With a little self care and incorporating things like yoga and meditation into our regular routine, we can ensure we stay positive, well-intentioned and energised for the year ahead. Position yourself for a powerful year as you take the time to treat yourself to this half-day workshop!

Yoga benefits the mind and body and has a wonderful ability to relieve stress. This workshop focuses on slow flow and restorative yoga and teaches you how to relax, restore and reinvigorate the spirit! Taught by our experienced yoga teacher, Meredith, you’re sure to walk away with new knowledge and practical skills that you can use everyday.

Meredith teaches a weekly class at Balwyn Community Centre and has many years experience teaching yoga to people of all and ages and abilities. Her students love her gentle approach and personable nature and appreciate the extra effort she affords each student to ensure they get the most from class.

You’re welcome to come to this yoga and wellness workshop on your own or to bring a friend. If you’re on your own, there’s sure to be other likeminded people that you can meet. There’s limited spots available in this workshop, enrol early to secure your spot.
