Eco-friendly, sustainable living is the done thing these days. It’s important that we take care of the environment and think critically about our consumption. Your kitchen is the perfect place to start! In this hands-on workshop you’ll learn how to ‘green your kitchen’ and make various eco-friendly items to take home with you.
This 2-day workshop is taught by Sandy Buchanan. Sandy is a qualified art therapist and passionate about green living. She has many years experience teaching arts and crafts to people of all ages and levels of experience and a great level of knowledge when it comes to sustainable living.
Make your kitchen more environmentally friendly by replacing plastic wrap and bags with sustainable and reusable food wraps and bags. In this workshop you will make to take home:
- 4 x waxed fabric lunch food covers
- 2 x waxed fabric bags
- 4 x sheer fruit and vegetable bags
- 1 x cotton grocery bag
- 1 x cotton sling bag
This is a fantastic workshop to do with friends or family who like you, want to live more sustainably. Or you can come on your own and meet people who are likeminded and passionate about the environment! The cost of the workshop is $70 and an extra $30 for materials.
